Innovation, science, and practice for patient health
The University Center for Clinical Research Support at the Collegium Medicum of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń was established to support the development of high-quality clinical research in Poland, conducted in accordance with the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and in the spirit of evidence-based medicine (EBM).
Our goal is to create an environment conducive to medical innovation, scientific cooperation, and the transfer of knowledge between science and clinical practice.

Innovation, science, and practice for patient health
We combine the potential of scientists, clinicians, and partners from the healthcare sector to jointly contribute to improving the quality of life of patients.
We provide comprehensive support at every stage of clinical research—from planning and protocol design, through coordination and supervision of the study, to analysis of results and their implementation into practice.

Our mission is to develop and support clinical research that brings real benefits to patients, raises the level of medical knowledge, and strengthens the position of Collegium Medicum UMK as an international research center.
We strive to make CWBK a place where science meets practice and medical innovation meets human care.
We are guided by the principles of scientific integrity, transparency, responsibility, and cooperation. We believe that only through joint efforts of the academic, clinical, and business communities can we effectively respond to the challenges of modern medicine.
The Clinical Research Support Center at Nicolaus Copernicus University Medical College works in close cooperation with scientific units at Nicolaus Copernicus University Medical College and university hospitals in Bydgoszcz.

We have modern research infrastructure, including diagnostic and analytical laboratories, facilities for conducting clinical trials, and specialized laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art equipment.

Our facilities also include research teams representing various fields of medicine and health sciences, which enables us to carry out interdisciplinary clinical projects – from biomedical research to therapeutic interventions and public health programs.

CWBK bridges the gap between science and clinical practice by offering comprehensive support to researchers and partners from the healthcare sector and the medical industry.
